Acceptable Use Policy

Innous is a private journaling tool. You may use Innous freely for any lawful personal-reflection purpose. You agree not to use Innous, or any feature of Innous (including AI analysis via Google Gemini), to:

  1. 1.Create, store, transmit, or request AI analysis of content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
  2. 2.Create, store, or transmit content that depicts, describes, or sexualises minors in any way.
  3. 3.Incite violence, terrorism, hate, or harm to identifiable persons or groups.
  4. 4.Defame, harass, threaten, stalk, or otherwise violate the rights of any identifiable person.
  5. 5.Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
  6. 6.Plan or facilitate criminal activity, including fraud, hacking, weapons manufacture, or unauthorised drug synthesis.
  7. 7.Generate or store malware, exploits, or any code or content designed to compromise the security of any system.
  8. 8.Attempt to circumvent Innous's security measures, reverse-engineer the app for malicious purposes, or interfere with the operation of the AI proxy or Google's Gemini API.
  9. 9.Use Innous in any way that violates Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Acceptable Use Policy.

Consequences

We may suspend or terminate your access to AI features if we have reason to believe you have violated this Policy (see the Terms of Service for details). Serious or repeated violations may be reported to law enforcement. Content depicting child sexual exploitation, when detected by Google's abuse-detection systems, is reported by Google to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by US law.
